ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,775,159 Covid-19 cases

INTERNATIONAL: On 18 January 2022 the ASEAN region has reported a total of 15,775,159 Covid-19 cases, this includes 310,236 deaths. The data was released by Worldometer, a website that is compiling Covid-19 statistics from around the globe.

At 10:00 a.m this morning, total cases and deaths per ASEAN member state are:
- Indonesia: 4,272,421 people (144,174 deaths)
- Philippines: 3,242,374 people (52,929 deaths)
- Malaysia: 2,810,689 people (31,808 deaths)
- Thailand: 2,337,811 people (21,959 deaths)
- Vietnam: 2,023,546 people (35,609 deaths)
- Myanmar: 533,245 people (19,304 deaths)
- Singapore: 293,014 people (843 deaths)
- Laos: 125,333 people (497 deaths)
- Cambodia: 120,825 people (3,015 deaths)
- Brunei: 15,901 people (98 deaths)
